Job Title
Technical Lead ( .net) – Software product Development
Act as the team lead for the India development team
Perform hands-on technical design, coding and testing
Interface with management in the US for project status, clarify software requirements
Mentor junior software developers as needed
Supervision
Normally receives general instructions on routine work and minimal instructions on new assignments
Expected to be self-starter with lots of initiative
Must be ‘results driven’
Assistance is provided on difficult problems and possible solutions may be provided.
Work is reviewed for application of professional judgment.
Education Qualification(s)
Bachelors degree in Computer Science/Engineering or Business (or related discipline) required
Preference given to candidates with Masters Degree / Advanced Degree
Detailed Qualifications Prior Job Experience)
Minimum of 5 years (but no more than 7 years in total) in design and development of complex software for customers. Preference given to candidates with prior Product Development experience.
Should possess solid software development experience using web based application server technologies and browser technologies.
Specific technology experience should include any of the following reference architectures / development platforms
.NET architecture (2.0 and above) NET architecture (2.0 and above)
HTML, XML, JavaScript, AJAX
MS SQL Server 2005 must
Significant programming experience in C#, web Services
Dundas Web chart latest version is mandatory
Ability to work with version control System (such as CVS,SVN &VSS )
Should posses excellent written and oral communication skills
Should possess prior experience in working directly with US based software development team (product managers, chief architect)
Should posses good experience in customer relationship and project management
Willing to travel to US or Germany for 4- 8 weeks
